Chef Davide Civitiello started his career working in Vincenzo Costa's pizzeria "Da Gennaro" at a very early age, when he was just 9 years old. By the time he was 18, he was working with the renowned and reputed players in the Industry. Rossopomodoro, where he got an opportunity to experiment with completely new recipes and doughs and refine his craft. Winning the "Trofeo Caputo" in 2013, at the 12th World Championship of Pizzaiuolo, marked an important day in the career. With confidence and resilience, he then whole-heartedly embraced opportunities, spanning the P&O cruises, Taj Hotels, New York based Berggruen (Keys) hotels, Ritz Carlton- Marriott Hotels and the Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia becoming the very first chef to give Goa its first award winning plant based Vegan restro-bar. He was recognized by the Chief Minister of Goa for his culinary contributions to the state and for promoting Goa tourism through his culinary offerings in Dec 2020. He was recently awarded the Best Executive Chef of India- 2021 by the Hotelier Indian awards at JW Marriott Delhi on December 16 th , 2021 and later felicitated by the mayor of Mumbai on 27 th December, 2021 for his culinary contributions to the city of Mumbai.
